yes you can drink it - make sure to count the servings against your sweetner servings for the day. i had to use it for a little while when i was getting used to drinking this much water. i never mixed it as strong as the box said though. i used just enough to flavour things. and now i don't need it anymore

And remember flavoured water should be in addition to plain water so try to do as shadewolf did and taper your use of it off !

The powdered Crystal Light is made with aspartame. The pre-mixed, sold in liquid form is made with Splenda.

That's weird. I've never noticed that they were made differently. I've always wished they made a crystal light type drink w/ splenda rather than asper. b/c I get such a headache from it. Cool. Has anyone seen those individual crystal light packets that you just add to a bottle of water and it mades a single serving. I wanted to find them but haven't seen them at Safeway or Giant. Anybody?

I found the single packet servings at Piggly Wiggly. But be careful because they are sweetened with aspartame.

Powdered Crystal Light contains the artificial sweetner, aspartame. Dr. Atkins discouraged the use of aspartame. It is a common staller for most people. Despite what the label may say, powdered Crystal Light does contain carbs. One tub contains 10 carbs. Its the bulk filler that has the carbs, similar to powder sugar substitute. 1 cup of Crystal Light contains 0.8 carbs...may not seem like very much but,if you are consuming a lot of this, it quickly adds up.

Bottled Crystal Light is made with liquid Splenda and therefore contains 0 carbs.
