I will be leaving on a vacation next weekend, we will be gone for 3 weeks. My goal is to simply to not gain weight while I am gone (which is what has happened on past vacations). I have not had any alcohol since I restarted atkins back in july, and have remained doing the extended induction just because i am a slow loser and it works out for me. I have not had any cheats either or any cravings, this i love! My fear on vacation is two things....I am definatley going to want to consume alcohol, I am thinking a shot of some nice vodka would keep me from feeling left out of the party. Normally my husband and i are strickly beer drinkers but it bloats me horribly also causes water retention. So I am thinking liqour would be quicker! I sound like such a lush, but anyone who suggests to just avoid it...its just not going to happen...it is vacation time to let the ole hair down.
Second challenge will be this fabulous italian restaurant that me and my husband have actually eaten at everyday on past visits. So i am trying to plan my course of action. Pizza is out...unless i just eat the top...maybe two meatballs and a side salad would be okay. I am also wondering if i can get them to make the eggplant parmesian without breading the eggplant. Any other suggestions?
