  • I felt them, I squeezed them, I wanted to lick the package..

....but I didn't buy them! *happy dance! :icondance

Ugh, I used to be addicted to Marshmallow Peeps at Eastertime; I'd buy a dozen of them to *cough* divide between my three kids baskets.....(THEY never really liked them in the first place, but mom did).....

.....*hangs head*....but then BEFORE EASTER arrived, I'd have to go replace them because I'd eaten them all. :yikes

Today in the store, there they sat staring at me, in all their glorious sugar-coated colors chirping "buy me, buy me, BUY ME!"

I have to admit, I came soooooo close to buying "just one package", telling myself that only ONE package is nothing compared to what I used to devour.

You seriously don't realize what a sick person you are until you're in the stores intimately fondling Marshmallow Peeps. :guns

Congrats for not giving in!!! :icondance

Holiday candy is one of my biggest weaknesses.....

Every Halloween I ate bags of those mellowcreme pumpkins. I'm hoping when this Halloween comes around I wont give in. :sarcasm

Its to bad that the Peep post got locked behind ET doors as that would have made your day. Maybe Nurselady can ask someone to move it to the light.

Apparently there are others here with this same Peep-itis?

          Seriously, it gets worse.

Know how people RUSH to the stores December 26th for after-Christmas sales?

I'd set my alarm the day after Easter and hit all the neighboring 24 hour drug stores to get the Clearance peeps before driving to work.

          Armloads of them. :sadblinky

And then at lunch, I'd hit all the neighboring K-Marts and Wallyworlds near work to 'Clearance' those out too.

The odd thing is, I could have bags of marshmallows around here and never eat them, not one.

Something about those colorful lil chirpin suckers that just drew me to them like ants at a picnic. :guns

We bought some last night! My daughter is a marshmellow nut! We bought the purple ones. Of course i'm not to fond of them so it's ok for me. We have lot's of easter candy at the house too...like Robin Eggs...now those are GOOD! It's amazing i'm not even tempted by them though!

I almost forgot about those. They are my second favorite Easter candy. I think I'm gonna have to cook an extra ham for myself just to not eat all the Easter candy.

Well I am not a peeps fan but Robin's eggs are wonderful.... Thanakfully my son is not a big candy fan and what he does like I don't..... Made his basket yesterday as a mater of fact. Pixie sticks, gummy bunnies and chicks (gummie saver), a candy baby bottle thing and a push pop..... And a cute teenage mutant nija turtle watch. Gotta love playing the easter bunny, santa and of course the tooth fairy.....

It is funny you guys are talking about Easter candy

I just got home from grocery shopping and was telling my husband they had my favorite jelly beans at the store..I did pick up the package and look how many carbs were in them..27 carbs per serving and I use to eat the whole bag because they were low fat...I am going to miss them I won't lie about it...

I am going to be strong....I don't have far to go.....just have to resist all talk of chocolate chick fondling/licking....I can have some of those sinful things once in awhile if I am on maintenance....not before....I can have them again some day....just not for awhile....I will be fine....I just have to go eat some beans....and go for a walk.

feel like i've been reading porn! lol..i loved those darn marshmellow thingys but I don't like them fresh - i like them to get all hard in the air first. with easter coming and it being such a treat frenzy, i'll need to come up with a backup plan for sure! and don't hard boiled eggs taste better with a colored shell?
