Re: slowing down? - please help

Do you have a lot of weight to lose? I started out having about 170 pounds to lose - if you don't that much to lose maybe that is why it is coming off more slowly. I've also been exercising as much as I can (which is not much since I am in sorry shape - but before I did virtually none).
I've also been following DANDR very closely (which ironically may have been adding to my distress yesterday). I'm not sure how to get out of a stall, but now I'm very glad I did not go way off yesterday - which given my mood I easily could have done. So my advice would be to stick with it and double check you are doing everything properly. In the very beginning, I found I was making some unintentional mistakes because there was so much to learn. For example, I think you are not supposed to go more than 6 hours without eating, and should be spreading your carbs out during your three meals and any snacks during the day (and eating fat with them).
I don't know about being tired - I've had much more energy than I used to pre-Atkins. Are you getting enough sleep? Like you, my sugar cravings are gone - I didn't even realize what they were before, I was so used to them that it was like they were almost always there - this is one of the reasons I really want to stick to this plan. I used to do weight watchers, and was hard pressed to lose about a pound a week on it - it was a constant struggle not to overeat - I don't have such problems on Atkins (sometimes I kind of have to force myself to at least eat a little at mealtimes because I am not that hungry.
Hope this is of some help to you. Hang in there!
