I've been on induction since 08/31 and have since lost 12 pounds. The past few weeks the scale hasn't budged at all. I did have to put another notch in my belt and my wedding ring is loose to the point where it falls off sometimes, but I'm discouraged that I'm not losing anything. Granted, I had an unintentional cheat day on thursday and I didn't gain anything but I'm thinking of just quitting. I enjoy not being hungry all day however I thought I would have seen a more significant weight loss by now.

don't give up. Your averaging over 2 pounds a week. If you keep it up by Christmas you'll be down another 22 pounds - thats awesome and you'd be more than half way to your goal. Bump up your exercising a little and give it more time. Good luck.sigpic

Did you try cutting down on the coffee. I know you said in an earlier post that coffee does not make one fat but that is the calorie way on thinking. Atkins thought that coffee can make you fat and research has proven him right. Coffee can raise blood sugars in some people.
But hey if you are losing inches you are LOSING. Sometimes the fat cells hold on to water as they are forced to give up on fat and all though they are shirinking their weight is up there but that will change. You will have a whoosh and the scale will catch up with you.
You may also be developing muscle. That happened to me. No weight gone but my pant size went down 4 notches. Works for me.

I agree with Liv (again lol) Check the clothing, and 12 pounds in a month is huge!!!!! I wanted to quit yesterday too when the scale hurt my feelings, however I'm sticking with it!!!! Because I know it works, look around the board.....sigpic

Hi Lason,
It may be a good idea to move up to Rung 1 Veggies. It's just 5 grams more of veggies other than the veggies that your eating on Induction. Most often than not, the scale will start moving again with the 5 extra grams of veggies.
There's alot more going on within your body than just losing weight. Your blood chemistry is getting healthy, healthy, healthy! You're also buiding muscle to replace that fat your losing. Muscle weighs more than fat. Did you measure yourself? When the scale isn't moving the tape measure is. They like to take turns. You'll find a pattern in your weightloss along your journey. I certainly did.
Even when you don't see the numbers change on the scale, the numbers are changing as in inches lost and changing as in blood chemistry numbers getting to healthier levels.
You're still moving forward in your journey. Just because you don't see the scale moving doesn't mean your not moving forward, because YOU ARE!
Atkins isn't a diet, it's a LIFESTYLE! You're making lifestyle changes for life. You don't want to give up on getting healthier, do you? Because that's what you'll be doing if you give up.
Stick with it hon, your body is just taking a pause and gearing up for more pounds gone.
