  • help with induction recipes PLEASE!!!

I have been asking for advice. Because Im on day 16 and I lost 9 lbs. But for the last 4 days..Ive been stuck!!! Anyways. Ive been told to get REALLY strict with the diet. I havent had and bread, pasta, potatoes, fruit..etc. But I did post a thread saying that Ive been treating myself to a very small piece of candy everyday..and found out that was a "no no". Im a very picky eater. I could live of of pasta and mashed potatoes and candy bars if I could.
I need some recipes though. I dont care for certain veggies like squash. And Ive seen a lot of recipes with cream cheese or sour cream and I reall dislike those things. I really need help. And Im trying to stay on induction so if U have a good recipe I would appreciate anything. Also..my personal email is mislicious16@yahoo.com. Thank YOU Very Much!!!!!

Congratulations on those 9 pounds lost

Don't be surprised if your weight stays static for a week or more now while your body tries to work out what is happening! Also have you taken measurements? Many of us find that even though the scale stays stubbornly still or even goes up that they are losing inches, which represents a loss of FAT!!

As to recipes - have you seen the 'never ending recipe' thread in the 14-day induction forum? Many good ideas there.

Lots of recipes do use cream cheese - I have found that many of these work well by using mayonnaise instead.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

        Hi,

There is always a little stall now and again. As your body retains water but as long as you are in ketosis you are losing fat. I highly reccomend you get a set of scales that measure body fat as it is a more accurate mearurment that you are losing fat. I have a set and even if i dont notice weight loss my body fat percentage still lowers. Hope it helps just dont let it stop what you are doing.

A good deal of us go into Atkins with our arms crossed and feet planted about what we will and will not eat and come to change our minds soon after. I say give it a while and again try those things you claim to dislike so much. You may be surprised at how much your tastes change!

This is the perfect time to spread your wings and do what you never thought you could and leave behind that which you never thought you would.
