Mouth watering, occasionally?

Hi there,

Just wanted to ask about ketosis and the possibility of a side effect which envolves your mouth constantly watering on occasions?

Has anyone experienced this too? Is it a typical side effect?

I think I am in ketosis as I can taste the metallic taste in my mouth - unfortunately I cannot know 100% as one of my flat'mates' has stolen my ketostix for some strange and bizarre reason!

I'm at a loss, nothing like that has happened to me - I couldn't tell I was in ketosis unless I had the sticks.

My mouth is watering because I'm still thinking about garlic-infused olive oil cooked steak I read about in another post!

I occasionally get a funny taste in my mouth. I wouldn't call it metallic, but it doesn't taste good. But I taste it mostly when my mouth feels dry.

I often get that same taste in my mouth. I googled the symtom, and read that it is not uncommon to get a metallic taste in your mouth. It suggested brushing the tongue with a toothbrush and even using plastic eating utinsils. I gargle, drink a lot of water and it seems to go away. It's probably an indication of bad breath, which is not unusual with this woe.
