Calling on all the pros out there for some advice.
Things have been a little slow for me lateley (slight constipation) I don't think I'm at that point yet but I haven't noticed this the other time or two I have done Atkins. So my question is .... Is dieters green tea ok for me to drink a couple times a week? It is decaf. I have had such a clean and successful run this time and I'd hate to mess it up.

If it doesn't stall you, it is OK to drink tea.

if you haven't had dieters tea before just be aware that you don't want to be to far from a bathroom, if you catch my drift. don't get stuck on the bus or in line at the bank after drinking it.

i have a similar question only about benefiber - i got those little packets that you add to a bottle of water & shake. 4g carbs but also 4 g fiber. and i think they are a little less...aggressive than the dieters tea.

Yes, if you drink this tea....BEWARE that you need to have access to a bathroom. I would suggest drinking half of a serving first. I used this tea in the past and sometimes currently. It really cleans out the system. Good Luck.

Thanks for the warning. The first time I used it I found out what it did the hard way. Now I use it more as a tool and very well planned out. I don't think it's making me stall but it's hard to tell at this point being that we are snowed in and I can't go work out. I'll weigh in the morning and should have an idea.

Funny... but not too funny story concerning this tea. I made a large batch and put it in the refridgerator so that I could drink it cold. Unfortantely my roomie at the time decided that he needed a big glass to take into work with him. Think Big Gulp size. Well he was home from work about two hours later thinking he had food poison. Seriously, this stuff does clean out your entire system. It's just plain EVIL.

THe weird thing is I have not had this effect from the tea. I drink the whole cup, and about two hours later I am going. I do not do it every day, only about 2-3 days a week.

Not sure what the difference is but I will look at the box and see if I can determine. I have had both too and the dieters green tea really packs a punch.

Crawling out from under my rock....I have never heard of Dieters Green Tea either...is this a specialty item or something. Obviously not at all like regular green tea which I have had several times with no adverse effect.

Maybe the Dieters Green Tea has some kind of a natural laxitive in it...hmmmm.

Try Yogi Tea "Get Regular" its organic and a produces less of a panic. They all contain Senna Leaf which is pretty much the same thing as a laxative. I call it Poopytime Tea!
The Yogi can be found in Supermarkets but the dieters green can usually only be found at GNC or some other health food stores.
It's just a quick fix.....Add more oil to your diet that will help over time.

That's amazing. That'll teach the roomie to hose your tea. Lol.

OK, I misread this post. I got the Yogi Tea "Peach detox" and choked it down in a double strength dose last night. I thought when you said that they all contain Senna Leaf that all Yogi tea did. My fault for not reading close enough. It tasted like crap but produced none. Back to the store.
