  • I painted my toes today!

I know some of you will be able to understand this all to well. It has been years since I have been able to paint my toes. I finally worked up the nerve to attempt and it went off without a hitch. They look cute and I'm starting to feel more normal. There is still a ways to go but small things like that remind me of what a prison I was in.

OH I know exactly what your talking about!! painting toes a long time bent over and if you have junk in the way it is quite difficult! LOL
just in the last few weeks I've noticed being able to tie my shoes and paint my toes without having to sit up for air... its AWESOME!
Now on to siting with my legs crossed comfortably! LOL

It is these little things that make this all so rewarding.

My thing this week was at my firm's Christmas party - not having to worry about getting up and moving through the tables to visit the Ladies - instead of making a joke of "excuse my big a**e, can I get through" I just could move around with ease. Made me smile and in fact I moved around just for the joy of it!!!!

      It's the little things!!!! x

I do not paint my toe nails, but I can relate. I can now tie my shoes without sweating! Sounds weird I know, but I can sweat at the South Pole. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

You go girl! Paint them all sorts of colors in celebration!! It is the little things that make us feel so good. I used to wear blazers and jackets to hide my fat, even though they didn't actually fit well enough to button, now I can actually button them! It really feels good to button them!!
