  • Had argument with hubby, didn't eat!

We are so stressed out right now, our son got in a car accident, he wasn't hurt, but the vehicle was totaled. It wasn't his fault, he was a middle car in a 5 car pile-up but every insurance company we talk to wants some other insurance to pay for it....anyway, like always when things get stressful, my husband and I had a very bad argument. Now, this is usually when I run to the shelter of comfort food. But, I didn't do it! It was really weird, I had that hollow empty feeling that I always get when we argue, but I wasn't hungry. I didn't know what to do with myself, but I knew stuffing my face wasn't gonna make it better. Made up with hubby and don't have the guilt of cheating, pretty cool!

GREAT JOB! You are in control of what you are now eating. That is great.

When we eat like that...we only hurt ourselves.

by the way, my daughter ate part of a 3 Muskateer last night and left it on the table by me. I wanted a bite soo bad....when I was feeling weak....she said Momma, will you make some clouds?
Thankfully that took care of my craving.

I applaud you :clapping , it was very good of you not to overeat as a reaction to the argument. That just proves that this woe does change your hole attitude towards food, you get a more normal perspective of it. You go girl!

Sorry to hear about your troubles... Glad you have learned how to handle those trigger situations that would have in the past sent you to food for comfort. Just one more sign that this WOE will provide you the means to keep it off for good. WTG!
