    Sorry if this has been asked before but is a cup of hot cocoa with splenda and alittle whipping cream okay for extended induction ? urplequ: or just plain hot cocoa ?

    depends on the ingredients plain unsweetened cocoa powder is a spice cream is legal as is water and you can mix that up with some sweetner of your choice and have induction legal hot chocolate. the store bought stuff isn't

        Make sure you count the carbs in it just as you would any other spice, like Cinnamon.

        I show it as 3g of carbs (2g fiber) per TBS.

          yep and rememeber not to exceed your cream limits either nor your sweetnern limits either and if even though it is legal you find yourself having cravings don't have it again until later in your Atkins program when you can better handle it.
