  • Using Ketostix

Is there any information readily available to tell what the ideal figures for using Ketostix is?

I get values between about 1.5 and 4 (it can vary daily), and need to be able to compare these values to see if I need to cut carbs even further, or if things are about right.

Also, to those in the UK searching in vain for these - I picked them up from a Superdrug pharmacy for just under £5.

    hi.

It doesn't matter what level you get. As long as the sticks turn color, it means you are urinating ketones.

And not everyone gets a reading on those stix at all.

You mentioned wondering if you should be 'cutting carbs' - only reduce your carbs if you are eating more than the 20 allowed on induction.

Going lower than that will not help your body at all
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
