  • Rough exercise session

    Yesterday, I couldn't sit still I had so much energy, went for 2 mile hike with hubby and could have gone farther. Today, I feel like I'm moving through molassas. It's 4:00, I've already had 11 glasses of water cause I'm real thirsty. I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile and Richard Simmon's Tonin Uptown. It was really hard! I barely got through it. I had 2 eggs and two sausages for breakfast, and a hamburger patty with swiss cheese on a bed of lettuce for lunch. What do ya'all think? Do I need to eat more? I feel like taking a nap. Anybody else ever feel like this? On Wednesday, I will have been on Atkins for 4 weeks.

    I have a fairly vigorous exercise schedule and when I am below 20 grams of carbs, it's tough. Remember, your body is pulling from your fat reserves to get you through that exercise. I can run 4 miles in 30 minutes when I'm at 30-40 grams of carbs. The same 4 miles takes me 50 minutes when I'm at 20 grams of carbs or less. I don't have the answer, I just push through it because I want it badly enough. Maybe a multi-vitamin can help? Great job on the exercise - don't let the lethargic feeling stop you from continuing forward!! Great job!

        Yes, TOM is coming to visit!

        You know, I just sat down and counted, I'm due in 5 days! Thanks for reminding me, I bet that is what my problem is! I went to bed at 11:00 last night and slept until 11:30 this morning! Thought maybe I was getting sick!

          Ya me too Around TOM I might as well die cause I have no energy at all I still do it but it's really hard so I know how you feel.
