Can you post a menu or two so we can make sure there aren't any trouble areas...I saw you ate a sandwich made with low carb bread in an earlier post...on induction you should try to stick to only things listed on the induction friendly list and avoid low carb breads and other "frankenfoods" that may contain ingredients that can stop your weight loss. Give us some examples of a typical days menu and we can see if anything can be changed. Also how much are you exercising...are you drinking your water...taking your vitamins?

Start measuring too. I went through a 6 months period of no movement on the scale, but I lost 3 dress sizes.

I'm sure you are losing somewhere maybe no in your pant size. The body does not lose symmetrically. I had a bought when I started to lift weights where I did not lose anything for 7 weeks I actually gained 5 pounds. I kept going though and it was all the support on this board that kept me strong. I did not have a significant chang ein my thighs or pant size but my upper body lost a ton of inches during that time. I am sure it's your bodies adustmant period. Some lose steady some lose in spirts some don't lose but lose inches. Everyone is different but, we all lose in one way or another. Don't get diheartened keep at it you are probably a sporatic loser like me. LOL

Hang in there. If you're following the rules of induction, including drinking your water and exercising, you'll be successful.

congrates on your loss on your plan. if you want to bedoing Atkins then you have to exercise as Dr Atkins himself stated in Chapter 15 of DADNR if you are not exercising then you are not doing his plan!

              happy low carbing.

                Don't worry, this takes time.

There were times were I stalled but soon after, picked right back up. Just keep doing what you are doing and exercising, you will see results.

                  Congratulations!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 6LBS!!!! I NOTICED YOUR POST ABOUT NOT EXERCISING YET???? SINCE EXERCISING CAN HELP IN BREAKING A TRUE STALL--I'M SURE THAT IF YOU HAD BEEN DOIN IT FROM DAY ONE YOU HAVE SEEN TREMENDOUS RESULTS BY NOW :yes.

I KNOW IT'S KIND OF HARD TO GET INTO THE ROUTINE, BUT ONCE YOU DO IT'S JUST AS HARD TO GET OUT!

I FEEL SO GUILTY IF I DON'T GO WORK OUT THAT I'VE ONLY MISSED 1 DAY SINCE I STARTED LOW-CARBING IN JANUARY :yikes

EVEN IF YOU START WITH ONLY 20-30 MIN A DAY OF CARDIO, SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN NOTHING.

ALSO REMEMBER WHAT DR. ATKINS SAYS "IF YOU ARE NOT EXERCISING, YOU ARE NOT DOING ATKINS"

I HOPE THIS HELPS AND I WISH YOU MUCH SUCCES ON YOUR JOURNEY :wave

Is walking considered to be cardio? A g/f asked me this today and I had to think...so I came here to the think tank lol

it's cardio if it's a walk that gets your heart rate up...not if its just a slow walk thru the mall...
