yesterday i was in the small range on the ketosis sticks, and i also started takeing a multi vit. (the GNC woman pack) today my sticks said that i was no longer in Ketosis, is that because of the Vit B turing my pee neon yellow (which my mother who is a nurse said it would do) or am i out of ketosis? in the 24 hours in between tests i had lean pork loin for lunch with 1oz of cheese, and for dinner i had 4 oz of baked chicken breast with 2 cups of salad and tomatos. what happened???? HELP!
ohh i'm on day 31 of induction and i have lost 16 pounds and 7 inches...and i am still eating the same...any ideas?

You know, I think those sticks are a waste of time and money because they really don't tell you anything important. Put them away, toss them and forget them. If thats all the food you had yesterday then your not eating enough food, the choices are fine, but a tiny cramp of hunger will do you more damage than colored sticks will

Vitamins are not related to Ketosis stall.. I take supplements from day 1 and my stix turn a dark maroon colour..

          Straight talk.
First, toss those darn stix. Second, toss your scale. Guess what? Your gonna stall sooner or later. Don't get used to dramatic weight loss day after day. You have to view this as what it is: not a weight loss program but a change of life. As opposed to what color the stick is, how do you feel? As opposed to how much you weigh, how do your clothes fit? Don't concentrate on the metrics and numbers of your weight loss, concentrate on how much better you feel! Third, are you exercising? If not, start. If you are, increase. Screw the journey, look at the goal!

Fat!!! Looks to me like you need more fat in your diet. I know its hard to get your head around it at first but you need some good fat in your day - some olive oil, butter.

Everyone reacts differently to the stix, don't get caught up on them, measurements are the way to go!

            Good luck x

The ketostix can be the death of you on this way of eating.
i obsess over mine. Now I am beginning to realize that they arent going to make me or break me. sometimes I try to change things to see if they affect the strips but overall, is the strip color going to make me give up? NOPE! So, why would I even bother with it?
I also used to weigh myself every day too. this is something that has to stop. I never felt like more of a prisoner until I purchased a scale and put it in my bathroom. It only makes weight loss more frustrating.
just exercise and keep a journal. see your progress in about two months. see how your clothes fit, see if you feel better, then step on a scale. Once you see the difference, whats in a urine test/ketostick?

              Good Luck

I doubt very seriously that your vitamin had anything to do with it.

I take a natural multivitamin (3 tablets=1 serving), calcium (6 capsules for 1500 mg/day), glucosamine chrondroitin (2) for arthritic joints, L-glutamine and potassium, and it doesn't affect my ketosis.
