  • What's for dinner tonight?

    Hi,

What's everyone having for dinner tonight? I am going to make beef kabobs, I've had the beef marinating all day, I found some beautiful zucinni & summer squash. I also got a portabello mushroom, are we allowed to have that? Am I blind? I can't find mushrooms on the list of veggies.

    <----My diet location.

This is "junk food" night for me:

Chili dogs (no bun of course)
Turnip and celery root fries with a cheddar cheese sauce
    Strawberry yogurt smoothie

PS Mushrooms are on the 'salad' list.

I'd love to know what you marinated your beef in for future reference.

Tonight I made Sloppy Joe Stuffed Peppers. Man were they good. If I wouldn't go over my cheese limit I'd eat two. But I'm a good girl.

Tonight I'm browning up some ground pork and beef, and throwing it in a casserole dish, layering it with spinach, broccoli, mushrooms and whatever other vegetable I find in the fridge that needs eating, then pouring alfredo sauce over top, and baking it till bubbly.

          1 frying pan + 1 casserole pan = my favourite meal...lol

chicken teriyaki and my "roasted cauliflower"

i cut the cauli, and put it on a baking sheet, lots of oil, garlic powder, and spicy powder, put it on broil. it comes out browned and crispy and is my favorite ever!! btw, ive never liked any cauli at all... this is just amazing
