Sooo...if we can have nuts on extended induction, how much peanut or macadamia nut butter would be allowed. I'm thinking I'll just make my own in my food processor to be on the safe side.

Peanuts are on the high carb side, but if you are going to have some, 1 TBS would be as much as I would suggest. The same ounce of nuts would apply after being processed. If buying PB, make sure you buy the stuff without partially hygrogenated oils (just peanuts and salts).Kent - 35-M-6'4"

Oh, please be careful with the peanut butter. This is what caused me to stop losing weight for 3 weeks and I had to cut it out. I was eating about 2 tbs of sugar free a day though.

But dont forget - peanuts are not nuts they are legumes and should be introduced in OWL - legume rung.
You can make nut butters from 'proper' nuts the same way though.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I have thought the same thing Elizellen. Even though they are technically legumes, Dr. A. always included them in the seeds and nuts group. Check out the Power of 5 and Power of 10 listings. I would much eat almonds either way though with their 2g of carbs.Kent - 35-M-6'4"
