  • The worst test yet!

Here I sit with a horrible cold and flu realizing that this is almost enough to put one over the edge. I have been in induction for 5 1/2 months now, mind you that is through Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, my birthday, and Valentines day. Through all of this I have been able to lose 79.2 pounds without temptation and change my life. The crazy thing is how the flu makes you have a horrible appetite and not even like the taste of water. So time for me to fess up. I have had Zevia (a drink) and nyquil tabs. Zevia says no sugar and no carbs so I am hoping that is the truth. I am assuming Nyquil tabs don't have sugar since their not the syrup. Usually I can tough this stuff out but I felt like I was going to die. Really. As far as food I am still pushing veggies and protein so no problems there. Today I had salad and crab. Back to bed for me.

Beekel -- the virus going around is enough to put the strongest of us down. Just remember how far you have come this far and within a few days you'll be back to losing again. I have been having trouble or the last 2-3 weeks like you've had. At least I've been able to get water into me and eat pretty much what I'm suppose to eat.

Just get back up ad back on plans soon as you feel up to it. Youve come too far to let it all slip away now!
