I am on extended induction for the 3rd week after completing a totally clean 2 week induction (but now I have been using sparingly some milk in my decaf coffe). Anyway I am happy evethough the scale these 3 weeks has moved down just a kilo ie 2.2 lb. (I wanna lose 20-25 lb so I am happy that i have already lose 7 lb up or down)
The questions now...
1) It says that we are supposed to drink 8 8-ounce glasses of water. Is it OK that I drinking the double water?
2)I started using ketostix. The color is not purple. My bottle has 5 colors. the first is the zero ketones and I am ranging between few and moderate but definitely NOT purple..I am using it for the last 3 days morning and evening and its always like that.My scale (because I weight everyday - I like it and it doesnt give me trouble)is flunctuating( i cheated also last week...but since Monday I am doing it properly). Do u think that it s OK that I am not purple in ketostix?I am losing but I think I havent experienced the symptoms everybody is talking about...of course I have given up carbs in the form of bread, potatoes and similar one week before I went on to Atkins.
