I reckon you are experiencing the often mentioned 'third week hesitation' of weightloss as well as seeing the normal weight fluctuation many of he have throughout the month.

Now is the time to start not checking those scales so frequently maybe or if that is not possible just getting into the habit of noting the scales number as a statistic which will help you find out your body's normal ups and downs regardless ofo what you eat or do. Frustrating but entirely normal
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

don't sweat it, I (seem to be telling this story a lot!) gained 5lbs my 2nd and 3rd week. you should go do a search for the PISS thread, post induction stall syndrome. its absolutely normal, and the thread will explain it all.
also its a good idea to double check what you're eating. for me personally i cant have 2-4oz of cheese a day or i will stall. i maybe have 1oz of cheese once a week. i had 1oz of cheese yesterday, and i'm up .2lbs today. also make sure you're excersizing!

It sure is frustrating! It's been officially 3 weeks today, and I'm on extended induction! I was so excited when a couple of days ago, I weighed in at 165. This morning, it looks more like 167 although I don't think anything I've eaten could have triggered an actual gain! Either way, I am happy with an 8-10 pound loss in 3 weeks! Good luck to you! Stay motivated!

            Have you been measuring yourself?
You should measure yourself instead of weighing
Anything could lead to higher numbers on the scale

Muscle weighs more than fat. If you're doing a good job keeping up with physical activity, you may just be gaining muscle mass and those are good pounds to be gaining.Muscle will help you keep the weight off and burn more as you continue. Get a nice roll of measuring tape and start taking notice of your inches rather than pounds and you may find yourself much more enthusiastic ^_^

Re: has this happened to anyone else ?

Well the same thing has been happening to me. My scale fluctuates about 2 pounds but I noticed that when I am weighing in heavier is cause I haven't gone in several days. I take some tea to fix that and once my system is clean, the scale moves down (I always weigh myself in the morning on an empty stomach) Another thing I have noticed is that no matter how the scaled has fluctuated, my clothes are fitting a lot looser. So pay attention to that also.

Re: has this happened to anyone else ?

Cristela, what kind of tea are you talking about? I have only gone to the bathroom 2 times this week and it was very "little".

                  Thanks!

Also, Stephie...I am at the same thing....3rd week stall. Thing is I have dont this before and didnt have this problem. I was wondering if it was my age now...when I lost 50 pounds this way before I was 27, now that I am 33...I am wondering if my metabolism has slowed. Then I get on here and see older people dropping weight like crazy. I am very discouraged too, because I dont think that I am doing anything wrong and my husband is dropping weight and can go to the bathroom. We eat almost the same things...

Im just really sad. I hope that your weightloss picks up!

Re: has this happened to anyone else ?

This is what I use and believe me, I have tried things that would usually give other people the runs but do nothing for me. This is the only thing that makes me go and does not cause severe cramps and the runs. It is best to brew it till it is rather dark and to take it at night before you go to bed.
                    HERBAL LAXATIVE TEA

It is made by Tripple Leaf tea and you can google the name "Tripple-Leaf Tea "Herbal Laxative" and go to the maker's website; It is in a blue box. I tried putting the link on here but I guess we are not allowed?

Re: has this happened to anyone else ?

I can attest to the tea also, it is wonderful. I wait til the kids are all down and I can relax and enjoy it. It works!
Also, get in the habit of making yourself sit and try to go @ a regular time everyday. This also helps. Every morning I drink about 6 -8 oz of water when I get up and I always head for the bathroom. This has helpedme. Habit is important.

And please don't rely on that scale. I know it's hard, I know. Especially in the beginning you wanna weigh all the time. It will make you crazy! LOL! Tell yourself once a week, like Sunday mornings. And measure yourself too. Women especiially tend to carry extra water for whatever reasons, that time of the month, too much salt or even the heat can swell you! 2 weeks ago we went through 85-92 degree weather and I was puffy every morning. I stand on my feet 10-15 hrs aday @ work so I tend to swell if I don't drink a lot of water.
Keep drinking and eating right and you will get on that scale next week and shout, "O my I lost more weight!" You are on the right track Stephie. Hang tough.
