Hi, I am on th 16th day of induction and wanted to know if it is OK to eat the KFC fried chicken which has few bread crums on the skin. that's my favorite part of the KFC. I was curious to know if a 3 piece fried chicken in bread crums more than the allowed 20gms of Carb?

Re: Question on KFC Spicy chicken
No, you cannot eat bread or anything breaded with regular stuff during Induction. Here is the list of foods acceptable during the first phase of Atkins:
It's not only about eating less than 20 net carbs -- it also matters where these net carbs are coming from. To understand this, it's best to read the book. On this board, we go by the 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution. The Rules of Induction can also be found in this sticky thread:
"Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: Question on KFC Spicy chicken
Thanks for the KFC nutrition Link.
I have purchased the new diet revolution book and need to go through it thoroughly. I had no clue that a KFC chicken piece could have that much Carbs in it.
.
Is there a link for Mac Donalds too.
thanks,
