  • I'm proud of myself!!

Hey everybody!! This is Cheryl aka KitKat, from the Texas panhandle!! I am happy to say that I started back on atkins april 1 st and am estatic that I did!! After going thru a painful divorce of 27 yrs and dealing with my disability (RA and Fibro) and moving out....I am happy that I can now say I have lost 18 1/2 inches total so far!! I do not know what the scales will say, I don't own any. But was weighed at the doc's before starting but have not been back yet..But to me the real true judge is the inches and how I feel ...And I feel GREAT!!!! Because I can not work-out the way most folks do I developed my own special workout for here at the house and I also plan to start back going to a heated pool, especially for RA and Fibro patients where they do arobics detailed just for us. I even bought me a bathing suit!! Something I have not done in many, many years!!...I posted my beinging pic's on the photos board if you want to see them...I will take more pic's propbably next month for my during pics..And then ater I will posting my after pics whenever that is..I must say i come and look at the pics all the time..it gives me great hope and encouragement to see all of them. As I am sure it does for everyone esle and hopefully someday soon my pic's there will encourage someone..I am doing extended induction because I have a lot ot lose and I actually like the induction...My doc did some labs beore i started and i have high BP, high Colesterol, and tryglyrits(not sure of the speeling of those) I have had the high BP for a few years now but the others are new to me. Because they were high he did put me on meds for them both.. But i pray soon that this WOL will help me to get off all 3 meds soon. I have to take several meds for my other conditions so the less meds i have to take the better..Well i just wanted to tell ya'll hi and thank you for always being here for everyone!! hugs Cheryl~
It makes sence if you eat low carb your not re-fuleing your body and so it HAS to burn fat to give you energy!

welcome Cheryl and let me say W O W -- congrats on loosing so many inches in such a short time! It sounds like you are doing fine and don't need any "newbie" advise, so I'll just say if you need anything let us know!
