I am going camping this weekend (leaving tomorrow). Do any of you have any suggestions of what I can bring to eat? Can I eat roasted hot dogs? Anything else?

I would suggest packing a cooler with some of the following items:
Hot Dogs (Kosher- low in carbs)
Hamburger Meat
Cheese
Lunchmeats
Cream Cheese
Water (lots of water)
Veggies
Ranch Dip
Hard Boiled Eggs
I guess the main thing is to be prepared- that is what I learned when I go on trips. It is the most challenging when you are away from home- but if you think ahead and do a little preparation- it will work out fine.Started Atkins 4/22/04

ooo this was always one of my favorite meals when camping
Tin Foil Dinner:
1 Hamburger patty
favorite veggies - mushrooms & celery is my fav.
and whatever seasonings you like
wrap everything all together in tinfoil with meat on bottom, then veggies, and season. Wrap it all up and toss in the fire for 20-30 mins or until meat is cooked.
Oh so very very tasty.F 24 5'10 SW - 217 GW 170 restarted atkins 1/14/08 - This time I'm sticking with it!
