im doing the extended induction and not going over 20g of carbs.i havent lost weight for nearly a week.i am due my period would this stall me or do i need to be more strict.

i am going to try and drink more water and hope i start seeing more weight loss.as i really dont want to loose interest in atkins as i am quite enjoying it and loving the fact im not sluggish and bloated from carbs.

    Any support would be appreciated.

    Re: slowed down

Move to the first rung of OWL, eat just as you are, but add 5 carbs more of veggies. This often is the kickstart needed.

You could be retaining water due to being 'due' but still, you have less than 30 pounds to lose, there really isn't a great need to stay in the most restrictive phase.

    And definitely exercise!

        Re: slowed down

On OWL you can eat your normal 3 cups then add 5 net carbs of any induction-legal veggies.
This could be about 13 cups of lettuce or 2.5 cups of broccoli or just under half a cup of onions - your choice!

The 'power of five' thread in the OWL forum has lots of suggestions for your 5 net carbs.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
