    When I first started Atkins I wasn't hungry at all. Now it's been about 2.5 wks on plan and I'm starting to feel hungry more often and even after eating I'm still hungry. (For example, it's been an hour after dinner of a hamburger and a small spinach/romaine salad with no-carb dressing and I'm hungry again.) I'm still showing color on the ketostix. I haven't weighed myself in a few days after I found out that Post Induction Stalling existed (I didn't want to bum myself out anymore by scale jumping.)

    Why am I hungrier now than I was when starting Atkins? Thanks!

    Maybe if you post a sample menu including all quantities etc someone can find a possible reason?
    Without knowing what you are eating it is hard to suggest any solution, but one thing I did wonder is are you eating too much protein compared to fat? I find that it is the high fat of Atkins that fills me up.

      Hi pdx! I'm right about 2 and half weeks in too! I'm also more hungry - at least more than I was the first 2 weeks. One thing I noticed is that I've been slacking on my water. I was aiming for 96 ozs a day...but now I'm barely getting my 64. I'm going to try up-ing my water a couple days and see if that helps...just something to consider...
