  • Tired Lately - Need Expert Review

    I am going to post my fitday journal:



    Please look at March 7th through March 20th - this is a very good representation of what I am eating daily.

    I am also exercising - 3-4 days a week - walk/jog (20 minutes) - 2 days a week - strength train (1/2 hour). I have been exercising for about 6 - 8 weeks now.

    I am taking Atkins basic 3 vitamin, Co Q 10, L-Carnitine, chromium picolinate, flax and have done so since I started this WOE.

    I cut out "splenda" 2 weeks ago.

    I just had my blood tested and I am in normal ranges for potassium, iron, thyroid, etc.

    I have been feeling tired lately. Not the usual energy that I had been feeling before.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

    Are you gettng enough sleep? Also, it's from out in left field, but have you had your thyroid checked?

      I had the same thing happen just a coupla weeks ago. TOM had come to visit.. Could that be the situation?

        I'm sorry, I forgot to post that my thyroid tested ok also. No, TOM is not near.

          could it be something as silly as they time change do you suppose? I know I'm grasping at straws but I'm throwing out lame possibilities now until someone smarter than me comes along LOL

            well Have you tried Dr Atkins advice to fatigued folk. Eat more food? He felt if you were tired you were not eating enough foods.

            HAve you looked at moving to OWL and adding more of those vegies to your diet as a means to get more of those healthy traceminerals and such?

            I was going to say you are in starvation mode having not eatten a thing since March 21st :yikes but you said to only look it before the 20th. LOL

              I know I must drive everyone crazy on this site, but I gotta ask, are you drinking enough water? Being dehydrated can make you feel, tired, depressed, hungry, it can stall your weight loss. It's really important to get the right amount of water your body needs every day, especially if you are exercising!
