do I stay on extended induction? I know it's for if you are metabolic resistant, which I think I must be with only 5lbs loss in 8 weeks of induction. Just how long do I carry on?

Some people lose better/faster on OWL Rung 1. I would try it if I was you - you can always go back to induction if you aren't happy. Have you posted menus to be reviewed? I have had trouble eating enough calories, and can't manage to quite drink all the water. I'm just too full! I feel sick at the thought of more food and drink.
I don't take the supplements as I have bowel disease and I flare up terribly when I take anything like that.

your starting weight was 155 and your goal is 126 so 5 pounds loss in 8 weeks is not too bad
the closer to your goal the slower the weight loss becomes when i first started the diet i was loseing a pound of fat a day during my work days and about half a pound a day during my off days but it only lasted for about a month
and now that im close to my goal weight its extremely slow now xD
also i used to have horrible IBS and who knows what other gut illnesses that had ruined my life and were killing me but 6 months into atkins and all my gut illnesess were cured
the atkins diet has saved my life
anyways heres some tips for your bowel disease avoid all these foods
White and black pepper, vinegar, capers, cinnamon, Cornstarch, Corn syrup, Nutmeg, Vanilla , Ketchup, pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, relish Coffee, Distilled liquor, Black Tea
and also i find too high of fiber really upset my gut so try and aim for 3 - 7 grams of a fiber a day or less depending on how it makes you feel
some tricks to get your vegetables in with less fiber is cut the broccoli really close to the top flower part and eat as little of the stem as possible
also your bowl disease is it the one were you cant absorb food that well? eating lots of meat will help it i know it hurts your gut to eat anything but eating meat is a must and it should slowly heal it over time and it will hurt less and less heres some helpful links about the disease

Yep the fibre thing did worry me about this diet, having been told for years I should be on a low residue diet like white bread and processed rubbish! But amazingly despite getting most of my carbs from leafy salad (like rocket) my UC is better than ever. Only reason I've stuck with this. Although I am totally confused how I can be fat and have UC, weight loss is supposed to be a symptom!
I do have alot of mayo though, only way I've been able to add calories.
I think I'm just getting really jealous of friends losing way more weight and still eating cakes! I miss pudding so much.

ya mayo is yummy xD i used to eat lots of it too but then i found out it irritates my stomach
the thing is untill your stomach is healed you wont beable to tell what foods irritate it cause untill its healed everything you eat can cause some pain
it took me 6 months of atkins for my IBS and stomach to heal but i was also eating lots of mayo and mustard at that time
im thinking the reason it took 6 months was cause i was eating mayo and mustard i think i could have been healed in 5 months with out them xD
also i find nuts/seeds the high fiber in them is a little hard for my stomach to handle and im ok for mostly all vegetables sept if i eat way to much of like spinage or spagetti squash then the fiber may start to get a little to high but also i believe high fiber wont irritate your stomach as much as vinegar/mayo etc
also i think the amount of fiber people like and can eat greatly varies from person to person i know some people suffer from constipation and higher fiber seems to help them
but anyways your stomach will be ALOT better while on atkins
