  • 1st test- PASSED!

    Lastnight was my favourite uncle's birthday party. The family served huge plates of speghetti, fresh oven baked bread, and a delicious 3 layer chocolate cake.

    I had salad, 3 veal meatballs sprinkled in parmasean and a diet drink.

    Yipppeeee! I did it and it wasn't that hard... I do admit that I stared at that cake quit a bit. If this sugar addicted girl can walk away so can you!

    Decided to do a 3rd week industion because I had 100 lbs to lose but haven't lost anything considering I skipped on the goodies... keeping th faith here.

    Way to go Doesn't it feel great for you to control the food and not have the food control you?

    Mini goal #1 - 196 - 10% of the old me gone Met 6/30/09!!!

      Well done!!
      I am proud of you for keeping to plan at that difficult family time

      BTW lots of people seem to have a break in weightloss after the first 2 weeks on induction. But often they will see inches vanish even if the pounds are not - so do take measurements or try on a formerly tight pair of jeans etc now and again in case your body is shrinking.

      F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

        way to go! we all know exactly how hard you were staring at that cake and how effortless it would have been to say "oh, just one little piece and I'll start back clean again tomorrow..."

          Thank you all for the support... and yes I am stalled. 3rd week and holding at 233. I'm not going to give up. In fact, I started excersising yesterday and did 30 min on the elipticle machine with no break. I also suspect, let's face it, I know I am not eating enough because I can't find an appetite.... I think this is partly why I am not losing either. Today I will up my servings a tad and excersise for 30 min...and we'll see. I have no problem dowing huge amounts of water. Crossing fingers here
