  • The scale is moving again!

Not that it matters because I was losing inches... but I am happy not to be stalled. Isn't it crazy how dependent we have become to that darn scale?

Thank you for the support everyone. Last time on Atkins I would have given up but now that I have found those who understand the diet and are going through what I am, I feel no need to self sabotage.

    Have a great day!

      Congrats on the moving numbers!

I hate that metal monster ... it torments me, laughs at me, teases me ... it is EVIL ...every pound DOWN is a struggle; I've noticed it doesn't have any trouble going UP, though ...lol. Oh well, we just soldier on !

Scales yes - they are not the best. I used a pair of very tight shorts as my guide when I started. I know have a pair of vanity pants that I know how should fit.

Congratulations on seeing the move. That is great.

Re: The scale is moving again!

My scales only seem to stall out for a few days JUST when I am about to cross into a new 5 pound range (a mini-mini goal, LOL!) or 10 pound range, some other mental goal, or in the case of going from 300 to 299, it held for over 2 weeks... constantly hovering at 300.2, 300.4, etc. . . I thought I would lose my mind as that was a big thing for me, to be in a new 100 pound range! Maybe the scales just really wanted me to appreciate it when they finally dropped that fraction of a pound to 299. ;-)

I think my scales have a brain and knows what will frustrate me most! Fortunately, most days I am pretty happy with the readings.
