I was wondering.. does processed cheese stall? because Nitrite in bacon does not stall but dr atkins says not to eat them because they are cancerous. Is that the same in processed cheese?

cheese as a whole can stall some folk that are dairy intolerant or have candida issues. too many cals of anything can stall folk out.

if you have an allergy to one of more of the ingredients in your cheese you can stall your weight loss.

But processed cheese is allowed andwill not in any way directly harm the Atkins weight loss mechanism.

Pasturized Processed American cheese just means it has a certain moisture content and the cheeses used to make it are cheddar and colby. all other blended cheese with that moisture content and agingis called American cheese.

Cheese food and cheese spread are what you need to be vigilate about avoiding cause it does have stuff in it that can stop your fatburning.

    Happy low carbing
