Can someone please tell me where I can find nitrate free bacon? I live on the east cost (VA) and we have grocery stores like Wal-Mart (of course!!), kroger, food lion, etc. Thank you!!

I buy their uncured (nitrite/nitrate free) products and they are very good. They also have a store locator across the US.

Like previous posters mentioned, Trader Joes. Whole Foods has a great selection if you have them in VA. Most health food stores that carry grocery items will have nitrate free stuff.
It's more expensive, but I make a once a month trip to Whole Foods to get the nitrate-free bacon and use it sparingly.Comment
