  • A few stalls

    Hi all,

Second time doing Atkins here.. first time I went down from 270 lbs to 160 lbs.. stayed there, then I got married to an ectomorph (who can eat pretty much anything and not gain, or not gain much) and slowly started gaining, not nearly to where I was before but at 195lbs I decided to put a stop to it and go back on the diet.

I'm down to 180lbs after a little more than a month, which I'm happy about, but I have stalled twice in that time and started going again, and I think another stall is starting now. It is no big deal though, I knew it would stall and was expecting it, I'd like to see that scale and waist start dropping again soon.

BTW should psyllium husks be taken if a person is experiencing diarrhea? I'm not sure if they would make it worse or better...

    Hallo -
Glad you are not letting stalls derail you.
I think fibre supplements are generally good for your system. Are you eating your veggies too?

Congratulations on excellent losses so far

As you have been so successful up to now your body might benefit from moving to the main weightloss phase of Atkins now rather than staying on induction longer.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
