I have the flu
but I have not been eating my 20 carbs because I'm just plain sick but I know I need to eat for energy to get better.. However this morning I ate breakfast 2 bacon slices and an omlet with mushrooms,onions, green peppers and cheese (probably not the smartest idea I have had) and right after I started to feel sick.. I ended up throwing all of my breakfast up.. gross I know sorry folks.. but my question is should I still count my 6 carbs that I ate or not?

Carbohydrate digestion begins in the mouth, so part of the carbohydrates you ate were absorbed. However, in these circumstances, I wouldn't worry about those 6 carbs (or whatever was absorbed of them) and would eat more veggies if possible. You might do better with some soup; add pureed veggies to it. And eat smaller meals more often.
