  • Not hungry anymore

I've been on extended induction (4 weeks) and have dropped 19 pounds. I did the 4 weeks of induction to help get relief from a lower back problem.

My issue is that I'm not hungry anymore - I'm having to force myself to go to the fridge and eat. On induction I tried to eat every five hours but finding it difficult to keep that schedule now. My wife is wanting me to drop atkins and feels it is doing harm. Anyone else have this issue?

    Re: Not hungry anymore

I find it hard to know when I am hungry. The only time I feel really hungry is in the morning before breakfast. But later I usually find that if I start preparing something, I definitely want to eat it by the time it is done. Rather than just eating from the fridge, try cooking or heating things so you have the delicious smells to tempt you

I think the hunger signals will adjust as we get more into it and introduce more carbs. Are you moving on to OWL now?

Don't let this become an excuse for going off the plan without even trying OWL! Atkins is not only induction!
