  • Back Again

I started the Atkins diet (or what I thought was the Atkins diet) on the 6th of august and I was quite successful with it to begin with but I found the restrictive foods hard to get used to at the start. I lost about 14-18lbs initially on the plan and ended up screwing myself over and putting most of it back on.

Three weeks ago I decided it was time to take matters into hand and seriously give the Atkins lifestyle another chance. So I bought DANDR and wow it totally opened up my eyes. So far my total weight loss has been 35lb (including my inital weight loss). I feel like I've been educated all about food and how and why I put on weight. Can honestly say I never thought changing my lifestyle would be so simple after the first three days (ketosis) It's been plain sailing.

Anyway I wanted to say if anyone is doubting the plan and how and why it works seriously give the book a read it will open up your eyes. And when your clothes start to sag and bag like mine have you will feel amazing.

I guess I should be in the extended induction category now.
