Probably nothing will be totally Induction friendly.

Carpaccio is a safe appetizer. Grilled vegetables usually have roasted peppers and eggplant and zucchini-those are all fine. For Entree, a chicken, beef or fish dish--just ask the chef to prepare with no sauce and have a green vegetable or salad on the side.

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

I like the steamed mussels in butter and garlic - usually an appetizer, but you can add a salad.

Shrimp scampi is also great - substitute vegetables for the pasta.

Many restaurants offer grilled pork/beef or fish meals.

I linger in the appetizer section - maybe make two of them your meal? Avoid the breaded/fried options.

      Have fun!

If they have their menu on line (many restaurants do) you can study it in advance and figure out what may be best. Remember it is OK to ask for alterations. I can always get grilled chicken and steamed veggies with some butter at places like that. If you really cannot figure out what they serve. Eat before you go there and just have a salad and enjoy yourself lots.

Liv's suggestion of finding out if they have their menu online is a good one. If not then you could phone them and ask what dishes would be ok for someone not able to eat food with starches and sugar in them.
