morning!!!! as i said before i am new here to EI and while doing induction i basically SKIPPED the exercise factor, since beginning EI i am trying to stay on track and WO everyday. well tues. i did advanced tae-bo , then yesterday i did a lower body w/ free weights and a brisk 30 min walk. when i was walking last night it felt like i was walking in quick sand!! this morning i am SOOOOOOOO SORE!!! not a little sore but like omg these muscles feel like they haven't worked in years!@!! i don't think i injured myself i just kicked some butt w/ my wo and my body isn't used to it but my question is do i weather the pain and do my tae-bo as planned or do i keep it simple and walk instead? thanks michelle oops i posted part of this by mistake earlier

Well I have read when you are sore it's good to walk so that may be a good thing to do give your muscles a little rest walk then tomorrow do the tae bo unless you feel so inclined to do the tae bo. I don't think it's going to hurt you as long as it';s a good sore not a painful sore if you are in pain then you should probably rest today.

thanks sarah. i think i am gonna go slap on a little icy-hot and see how i feel after. the soreness is a little painful but in a good way, you know what i mean? i would be really upset if i wasn't sore i just don't wanna over do it, i would rather skip one day and let my muscles relax a little instead of pushing on, hurting myself, and having to skip several days> ICY HOT here i come!!!<a href="http://www.TickerFactory.com/">

A good warm up!
A good warm up always helps! I also do tae-bo (every other day). It takes your muscles time to get used to actually working, especially the ones that have not been worked in a while. The more you exercise the more your body wil get used to the workout, and pretty soon there will not be any soreness at all. I had this same problem when I started :yes. Hang in there--maybe try the workout every other day (example I tae-bo Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday--treadmill, eliptical, bike, crunches Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday.
Switch it up and work different muscle groups on different days and see if that helps you.
Good Luck :joy :icondance :joy :icondance
