It takes a lot of will power to say no to some of the most delicious foods in the world. Which I have.

        >>I have been doing it for 3 weeks now, and they say if you can maintain something for 21 days it becomes a new habit.>>

If that were the case, then no one here would ever be a "restarter".

You're still looking for immediate results ... and changing your life takes time.

Me ... I've been doing Atkins for 311 weeks ... and even I don't fool myself into thinking that I've got it all figured out ... or that "going off" isn't still possible.

Some of "the most delicious foods in the world" are low carb.

I think it takes making a decision more than will power.

            That's me though.

                You're not unique in that.

I think we all wanted to lose the weight overnight.

                Takes time though.

                That's the reality.

It takes time even on low calorie.

That's why one should look at the "maintenance" phase of any "diet" ... and see if that's how they want to spend the rest of their life.

Question: Since I have increased my water intake since yesterday I have an appetite again. Is this a good thing? I thought water was supposed to suppress your appetite.

Ketosis suppresses your appetite. Water helps you flush toxins out of your body, and keeps you hydrated. Are you working out?

I haven't had an appetite since starting. I did not start to get an appetite until late yesterday after I increased my water intake. I exercise 3-4 times a week.

Eat, and remember that you may not be losing weight as fast because you're putting on muscle by working out(though if you don't eat that might not be the case) make sure you measure yourself so you get the whole story.

Maybe it's a sign that you're hungry and that if you're not starving yourself, things are good.

                                Maybe you're overthinking this!
