Chop the mushrooms, saute in oil or butter until thoroughly cooked. They will give off a good amount of liquid during their cooking. Boil it slightly and puree about half of the cooked mushrooms until smooth. Return it back to the other mushrooms. Bring to a boil. add the cream. salt and pepper to taste.~Megs~

Then you're going to have to settle for a brothy-Asian style soup.
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 shredded cooked meat
1/2 cup shredded leafy green vegetable (spinach, lettuce, cabbage, etc.)
1/2 cup thinly sliced mushroom
1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger (it's in the spice section of the supermarket)
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
Microwave the mushrooms in a bowl until soft. Add the broth and powdered ginger. Microwave until it boils. Remove and add the leafy green veggie. Microwave until it boils again. Add the cooked meat and soy sauce and eat.~Megs~

That won't taste bad, but it won't give you the taste or the texture of cream of mushroom soup. It'll be more along the lines of a hot milky drink with mushroom chunks. Plus the amount of cream you'll need will exceed Induction amounts.~Megs~
