  • A little help

    Well I didn't think I'd start another thread so soon.

    We had a bit of a family crisis this morning involving multiple phone calls and lots of waiting without going into too much detail. In the end, everything is ok and everyone is fine.

    However, in the ensuing chaos, I did not eat this morning. Just didn't even think about it and due to worrying, I wasn't hungry. So it's lunch time and still not hungry but I am preparing an inducting friendly dish.

    My question - do I just go on with my meals for the day and forget breakfast or should I try to get two more meals in after lunch?

    I never skip meals but this was one of those extraordinary situations.

    I wouldn't worry about the skipped breakfast ... continue on ... and if you get hungry, eat another snack.

    Glad everything is fine with the family ... that's what's most important!

      Just go on. Life happens!. Congrats, crisis' usually make me head for the refrigerator.

        glad your family issues worked out.
        Listen to your body and it will tell you if you need an additional meal later today or not. Since your appetite is suppressed make sure you follow Dr Atkins 6 waking hoours eating rule so you don't end up on a binge cause your blood sugar dropped too low from lack of atkins legal food.

          It absolutely just happens sometimes. Of course, try to avoid skipping meals in the future, but like DesertThorn said, life happens! I'm sure you'll be fine.
