  • No Weight loss over the past 3 weeks

    I have started extended induction about 3 weeks ago. I only lost 200 gms in the past 4 weeks. I haven't cheated once, and my ketones sticks are always purple, but I am not seeing any changes on the scales, even my measurements aren't any different since week 2. I am really desperate to lose weight. My 10 year reunion is in 4 weeks. I am not even close to my first mini goal! I was really hoping to lose at least 10 more pounds, but it is not happening. I work out really hard, almost an hour daily. I do cardio and weights...I follow the rules. I take my multivitamines! My total calories are under check.. yet, I am not losing any weight nor inches.....
    I am really confused and sad...
    I don't want to stop trying though... Any suggestions to accelerate my fat loss?

    That could mean you're dehydrated. It could mean you spill a lot of ketones. Having your pee turn a stick a color doesn't mean you're doing Atkins right or that you will lose weight. Relying on them for anything is futile.

    My suggestions are:

    post a typical day's menu ... with quantities and net carbs, and how much water you're drinking.

    The second suggestion is to move to OWL.

      are you tracking your vits and minerals to be sure you are not deficient in any as it is hard to get a full days worth from thr induction legal foods.

      Some folk do better adding rung one of OWL to their induction 3 cups of veggies to get more of those missing vits and minerals.

      Hang in there weight loss doesn't always happen in a rapid linear path but if you keep working out and eating your atkins you will be a healtheir smaller you walking into that room for your reunion.
