  • ongoing induction ?

This is wk 4 and all is going well but is it normal to no longer feel hungry? I'm now eatin my 3 meals because I have to not because I want to and I'm also including 2 snacks just a cheese stick. My ? Is is this normal because I had to decrese my portions cuz its too much for me but I'm worried I won't loose wgt now. Is this suppose to happen?

    Hi Ami
Not feeling hungry is one of the signs of being in ketosis, so is perfectly normal on Atkins induction

I see you are still on induction, did you lose any weight in the first 14 days?

If so it might be time to start adding more 'good carbs' starting with more induction vegetables to make sure you are not missing out on any nutrition.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Smaller meals eaten more often might help.

Also, try to pack good nutrition in every meal and more calories in every bite, without increasing your portion size. You can do this by eating nutritious vegetables (not only the lowest in carbs) and more fat.

You started with 40 lbs to lose. Have you read Chapters 12 and 13 in DANDR 2002?

Are you planning to move to OWL any time soon?
