keep reading those questions in chapter 13 of your DANDR and when you are ready to move just do it. As long as you have read your entire DANDR and understand one has to do OWL before moving to Pre and the last 5-10 pounds need to be lost in pre there is no need to move to OWL right now.

Also keep checking your reports page in fitday to be sure with your food choices and your supplements you are meeting your daily vit and mineral requirements because weight loss disasters await the extended inducttee who doesn't.

Since this is the extended induction forum we should be supporting the informed decisions the extended inductees have made to continue with induction and following those rules by not having more veggies yet. Afterall if they were posting in the 14 day induction forum we would all be telling them good for you and you can add more veggies when you get to OWL. same rules apply to by the book extended inductees.

I am a mod in this forum (not sure if that means anything ) and I wholeheartedly agree with this. Some people do go on extended and we should respect that - it is a fully allowed thing to do if we follow DANDR. So there is no reason to criticize every soul who posts here.

I lobbied for the creation of this forum to help the 14 day folk not be confused by the extened inductees doing induction for long times and think they should too and so the exteneded didn't get hit with move to OWL as the answr to every question.

Hi Liv! It means a lot. It means (to me) that you care what goes on here. And I appreciate your time and volunteered effort! However, not about criticizing, but about being responsible as a person that wants to help others with the same issues that we (you) had throughout this way of life. Would you agree with me?
Do you want a solution, or do you want me to tell you what you want to hear, which is what kept you the way you are.

I think the Extended Induction Forum was a great idea! My issue is that I want people to know that it is not a good idea to cheat in either Induction or Extended Induction, and that veggies are nothing to fear.

I do apologize for not addressing the OP directly regarding the original question... I just find myself having to clarify things a bit when Andrew posts...

I am at a stall. I keep loosing one pound then regaining it. Maybe it's time for me to move on? I've added extra veggies but that's about it. But am loosing inches though and hubby can definately tell that I'm shrinking

as long as you are losing inches youhave body fat being shed and are not in a stall. they are 4 full weeks of no scale nor inches lost.

you are morphing your body working your atkins.

at some point your body will shed the fluids it is holding and poof overnight you will see the scales move. then the process will restart inches no scale loss then sclae loss then inches no scale until you get to goal weight.

hang in there. move to OWl if you want to but not cause you think you are stalled when you aren't

Re: Question for everyone on extended induction!

Sorry my post was not meant to create drama. I am going by the book and I am following the guidelines Dr. Atkins himself set for when to move on. At this point I am not ready to move on and I still have enough weight left to stay.

In the future when my answers change I will move along the plan. I know it's hard for many to believe that some people don't look forward to adding more veggies or even nuts, berries etc. But it's just how it is right now. I need to maintain my focus to get through this block. I have hit this weight range many times over the years and have yet to get past it. If I start changing things now I know me and I will get distracted from plan.

While it may not be the general consensus on what is right. As long as I am following the plan I will continue at my own pace. I'm in this for the long run but have to work it on my bodies schedule along with the book.
