  • 8 eggs in one day!

OMG, I think I might turn into an egg. Yesterday I had 8 - EIGHT! - eggs in one day. Aside from that feeling like a ton, is there anything wrong with it? I stayed inside of all of the other induction guidelines - got the vast majority of my carbs from veggies, ate only off of the approved list, drank tons of water.
    Thoughts?

While I've had a few days where I've eaten 6 eggs, it's not something I would do very often.

    Mainly, it's boring.

Dr Atkins warns against eatting the same protein too many days in a row so we don't develope any food intolerances nor allergies but eating a large amount of any one protein food for a day if you only ate enough to feed your hunger will not have an adverse effect on your Atkins.

XD I totally do that so often.
don't worry about it =) just as long as you don't eat to much protein at the end of the day.

Eggs are the perfect food. I often eat about that much every day, although I usually throw away the whites. I like to start the day with a scramble of one whole egg and two yolks with some kind of diced meat, or bacon.

Stories like that man eating an astonishing of eggs on a daily basis and remaining very fit with good blood panels at that age should be taken just like so many those types of stories should be taken and absorbed.

A miracle in our time and most unusual and astonishing - not a guideline on what is safe for you or me or the general public - and what is not safe to do to our bodies.

My grandfather smoked several cigars a day and nearly a pack of cigarettes a day and lived to be a healthy and energetic 92 year old man who died quietly in his sleep.

My mother, who never smoked a day in her life died of certain type of cancer that is most usually found to occur in smokers at age 63 after four year battle - she was diagnosed at age 59.

My grandfather hit the jackpot, gene and biology and luck wise, and he simply can't be taken as an example that 'hey! smoking can't be bad for you, it might even be good for me because look at Grandfather!"

He was a great exception to the norm.
