Okay, so is the muscle rumor about excercise true?

I have been in some form of ketosis for about two weeks now, usuallly low but I drink lots of water and I am using the strips. I have been eating less than 20 grams of carbs and I am still not loosing any weight. I lost about six pounds and that was it.

I have done some form of cardio almost every day and a friend at work told me that it could be muscle starting to grow and not to worry about it. It's just discouraging to get on the scale and not see any improvement.

I walk on my treadmil at a 10% incline for 30 minutes, burns off as many cals as running does and is easier on me.

Anyway, is this true? I will say, I seem a little thinner in the mirror

    Thanks

The quick answer here is yes. Muscle does weigh more than fat.

Sorry I cant go into more of an explanation, but my boss is in the office and I cant get away with posting a long post at the moment.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      john,
Have you taken your measurements? If not do and write them down.

Muscle weighs more than fat and you are building muscle. Plus you might be retaining some water also.

      Why the scale can lie!

      Size 24/ ? / size 14

Make sure you measure yourself, the scale doesn't always show the results. How long have you been following this WOE? It is common to hit a temporary stall.
