  • Question about 20 net grams

    Ok so it's my second day on the induction phase and I'm a little confused to what exactly is 20net grams. What can I have that woud equal that and does that mean 20grams of veggies?? Im so confused please help!

    On day 1 i had:

    breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with cheese, ham and onions and decaf tea

    lunch: london broil

    snack: 1/3 a fiber bar

    dinner: stewed fish - with 3 tablespoons of curried coconut milk and steamed broccoli and cauliflower

    Is that good???

    In order to be able to do this diet, you MUST read The 2002 edition of Dr. Atkins new diet revolution book. It is available on Amazon for a reasonalbe paperback price - even for some there are used editions that are even more reasonable in price. You can't do this diet correctly or feel well while you are doing it if you don't read the entire book from cover to cover.

    You did not eat your carbs correctly, it's impossible to know if you even had enough or too much carbs in the first place by reading your menu.

    Were the onions green onions only? Where are your necessary salad greens in this diet?

    You really must read the book in order to know what you are doing or you will not succeed on this diet.

      Have you seen coconut milk on the Acceptable Foods List for Induction:

        I just went onto amazon and purchased the book. I hope it gets here in quickly. Should I pause the diet until I read the whole book? I'm a little fustrated and anxious to start. I feel like I've been putting this off already for two years and I finally found the will power to just go; I work 6 days a week every week with 10 hour days. I hope I can find the time to read thru it quickly but honestly I'm feeling a little beaten. =(

            no don't pause just read the links and follow. we don't eat 20 net grams that is just the max limit of all the carbs we can have. we eat the 3 cups of veggies from the induction legal ones, and count the carbs in our eggs cheese spices herbs drinks and anything esle we legally consume.
