Thanks so much for the quick reply,, i have just a few more questions,, can i have dill pickles.. i found a pickle that has 0 carbs and 0 surgars of any kind, if so do i need to keep it a limit along with the grenn beans,, also i know it shows we can have mayonaise i see that surgar is the 7th ingredient in it. but no sugar shows on the percent lable along with 0 carbs.... i had one that had corn suyup in it so i throw it away.. last one is tuna.. i bought some starkest tuna in the can but now noticed that it has soy in it is that ok>?

Yes, you can have dill pickles. They are not, however, 0 carbs.

A better question, in my opinion, is whether or not eating tuna at all is safe. There's way too much mercury in canned tuna ... and mercury is a neurotoxin. I wouldn't eat it at all.

          >>the pickles that i found say under 1 g for the carbs.>>

The labels don't always tell the whole story. You would do better to use a trusted carb counter like the USDA or Fitday. Labels round.

You need to eat MORE than pickles and green beans.

Have you gotten the book yet, or read the links you've been given?

unless you are soy allergic, have hypothryorid, or a cancer that is estrogen fed the soy in your tuna will not effect your atkins weight loss nor your health.

COngrats on the great job you have done shedding body fat. As ytou progress you are going to see weeks of no loss on the scales and even a few with a gain on the scales but your overall trend will be downward. You can see if you are having an issue with your carb intake by checking your inches lost during thiose noncooperative scale weeks. You will be amazed to see inches of body fat being burned off even when the scales say no change.

As we get smaller we need to increase our exercise portion of the Atkins plan in order to maintain our cal burning cause our bodies do not need the same amount of fuel to move the smaller ligher us doing the same things. Hve you increased the resistance or the speed on your cycling? added something else too?

What you have listed as your foods are rather lacking in vits and minerals so I hope you are taking supplements to correct what you are missing or your weight loss could grind to a halt when a body system that uses those missing vits and/or minerals begins to attempt to make corrections for those missing elements and vits.

Is that less than 1 gram of carbs per pickle? I would count maybe 0.75 per pickle for them, as 'less than 1' = 'between 0.5 and 0.99999' on labels.
Make sure there is no sugar in the ingredients list too.
They might have a lot of sodium in them which for some people makes problems with water retention/bloating, so would not be the best choice for your 'up to 2 cups of salad vegetables' in my mind. Maybe eat unpickled cucumbers instead?

Do no other vegetables from the 'salad veg' list appeal to you?
Remember you do not have to eat them raw, but can cook them if you prefer, just count the quantity in the raw state then fry/boil/steam/roast/grill them as you like
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

How (and When) to Eat Your Veggies. From the book:
Choose a good lineup of vegetables, then follow these five tips:
                      1. Consume vegetables little by little throughout the day. If you save up your carb allowance for a giant veggie splurge, it might produce a surge in your blood sugar.
                      2. When you eat higher-carb vegetables, such as yams or winter squash, do so along with proteins and fats. They will slow the passage of carbs through your digestive system and minimize their impact on your blood sugar.
                      3. Look for recipes in which a variety of vegetables are included with meat, fish or fowl as part of a complete entr6e, such as stews and dishes based on Asian cuisine.
Don't drink your vegetables. Juicing removes the fiber, which has the double merit of helping you feel full and maintaining a healthy digestive system. Juices also concentrate the sugars from vegetables, increasing the risk that they'll spike your blood sugar.
Tomato juice is added on the list in OWL under rung 7

HI. The info. provided to you from the people above is great, BUT please do realize that it seems you have reached a 'plateau' which is very common in most every diet. By following the guidelines offered by those here you should be back on your way soon. It will also help to Google "weight loss plateau" for further (albeit non-atkins) tips. Good luck and most of all do not stop now. All you need to do is get over this 'hump' to begin experiencing weight loss again. All the best!

It is hard to find sugar free bacon sometimes. I can find some in my local store - try posting in the main board for brand suggestions in the US.
If it is zero carb you would count about 0.5 carbs per serving. I would say if you cannot find another bacon that that one will not be a big deal.
I do not worry about nitrates.
