for me i seem to lose fine as long as i keep my daily carb count under 20g a day, regardless of what the source of carbs is. personally my health and digestive comfort is more important then rungs on a ladder. i can't imagine how anyone who follows induction to letter can get the daily recomended amount of fiber in their diet unless they are taking heaps of psylum which in my case only makes matters worse.
after all dr. atkins died over two years ago, in that time the low carb products have evolved dramtically. at the time of his death i doubt that a products containing ingrediants from higher rungs of OWL that are very low in net carb were widely available like they are today. for me personally i'd rather be eating a more varied diet and still keep my carb count low and continue losing weight, rather then adhere to a set of rules that become more and more dated as the sophistication of low carb products progresses.
