    :wave
Hi finished my 14th day i have decide that i want to do an extended induction so hiya.
i have lost 7lbs which i lost in the first week. I have not lost any more weight.
when can i start to include soya flour in my recipes. i am strictly following my diet. i hope i lose so weight this week. i could do with a boost to my morale.
i also feel tired and lethargic most of the time. i checked my ketostix it was in between,i am assuming that it shows ketones.

Hi and welcome. I only lost 5lbs the first week and nothing week 2. I think your body need to figure out what is going on. Keep following the rules and you will be fine.

As for the soya flour that is not until Rung 6 of OWL. You have a long way for that. There are sticking that explaine it in the OWL forum.

    Your doing great :yes

Well done for losing 7lbs and for getting through induction!!! what great news.

Dont worry it normal to loose in first week more, and dont make this allow you to be unmotivatd as the your body just changing over and it takes a bit of time for it to all fall into place

      Good luck

        Good Job!

Great job on the 7lb loss! You are doing great. Laurenfra is right, leave the soya flour alone for now, it will come in due time :wave

Hi :wave congratulations on the 7 pounds loss :joy

If you buy linseeds and grind them (in a coffee grinder) you can use the 'flour' in lots of recipes. It is the same thing as in America they call 'flax' and often can be used as a substitute in recipes that call for soy flour or almond flour.

Also there are several recipes using flax in the recipes database (link at the top of the page) just tyoe 'flax' in hte search box to see a large selection
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I too only lost 5 lbs during induction,, but I dont have as much to lose and being over 50, I know my age plays a factor. But,, almost every diet I read about says a good number to lose per week is 2lbs, which means it really is gone. So, I figured "hey I beat that" so I told myself to not give up. I was told yesterday, but this very supportative group, to not compare yourself to others, and that is the advice I am takeing... Keep it up, your doing great, and remember,,, your not alone... :yes
