    Well, Day 17 and I'm still around.
    Just, somehow, not loosing nearly as much as other folks are during induction. Went great for a while and then just got stuck.

    Blah. But, I'm still here. If nothing else this diet has gotten me to try things I never would have eaten before (mostly just odd cuts of meat that I had good recipes for that turned out atkin's legal. go fig?)
    Highest Ever: 280
    Start: 261.5
    Mini Goal 1 - 240 by June 1st.
    Mini Goal 2 - 220
    Mini Goal 3 - 190
    Mini Goal 4 - 160
    Goal - 135 -
    Goal 2 - keep working on toning away loose skin/whatever if I still have any. Be able to wear a swimsuit (maybe a bikini) without shame before I'm 30

    Comparing your weight loss to someone else's serves no purpose ... someone always feels bad.

    If you want us to look at a menu, just post one!

      As long as your losing, thats the point. Don't compare yourself with others as we are all different and lose at different rates. If you feel something isn't quite right, you could post your menu and have the experts check it for you.

      Also, try on a pair of those tight jeans, we often lose inches when the pounds aren't moving.

        I'm pretty sure the menu is okay. I've double checked it a few times against all the rules and it comes up okay other than the one exception I knew I was making when I started (I've managed to cut down further on the caffiene, but it's not out. Working towards it.) That might be it, come ot think on it. I just haven't been able to quit it cold turkey ever.


        But good suggestion on my tight jeans. I'd tossed a single pair of too small jeans into the top of my closet a few months ago. I still couldn't wear them out (i'd be very uncomfortable and they dont look good) , but I can get them *on* and zipped which - that's new.

          Congratulations on making it this far. Well look at this way - it is going the right direction. I know my old self could make that weight go up in an astounding speed so I am happy just to see THAT not happening.

            Congrats onm the jean conquest. On atkins inches are better indicator iof success then scale numbers cause cause we are adding lean body mass as we work our atkins too.

            Besides nobody sees the scale number when you walk in a room unless you wrote it on your forehead. They see the healtheir smaller you waltzing in.
